Did you know that honeybees are the only insects that produces wax in any quantity?

They use it to build their homes, to rear brood in and to store honey in.

Making it requires a lot of energy on the part of the worker bees.

Honeybees can only make wax when the outside temperature is warm enough and there is a good flow of nectar coming from the flowers.

There are many simple measures to help provide a better habitat for not just honeybees but all pollinators.
